Doug Crossley

  • I’m your Writer, Coach and Collaborator
  • London & Internationally

You name the creative rut and let a man with a spade in his head dig you out.

What do you call a man with a spade on his head?

Doug: A man who has developed a sense of humour because people really love to tell him that joke. Also, a man whose name serves him well because to dig and explore and uncover is the reason he was placed here on earth.

I work in a number of ways. As a writer on creative projects myself, and as a coach and collaborator to others. I invite you to explore my website for examples of different projects I've played a part in and drop me a line via the contact page if you have a project you'd like to discuss.

My passion is transformation. I'm insatiably inquisitive about our capacity as human beings to transform. I enjoy shape shifting and trying things out, and I want to know my own resistance and fears so I can be familiar with them. This is clear to see see from the variety of projects and arena's I've played in. Additionally, I love to support people through key moments of transformation: personally and professionally. I believe we work to live and we are inherently capable of living unusual, intriguing and deeply individual paths.

I am a longstanding student and advocate of what is often referred to as "mental health". So much so I stand firmly in the belief we can now just address it as "health", seeing as the issues that often present in this area are very rarely exclusive to the mind. I've spent 15 years of my life as an ally to the spirit and consciousness enquirer, thirstily reading and exploring avenues to wellbeing, recovery and connection. I love to explore roads less travelled and help others find a balance that suits them.

As a result, alongside my work as a writer, I'm now also working as a coach. I work as a speaker coach alongside my speechwriting offering, and also as a business and life coaching (details will be published on this site very soon).

I'm the guy to bring the "who can help me with this?" task to. Whether you're looking deliver the most exhilarating speech of your career, daring to write a book, or dreaming about make a daunting shift in your life.
