Talent: Russell Tovey
Russell’s natural cheekiness and warmth are part of his appeal, but here he was also hosting quite a grand event for an art-world audience (and whilst he really knows his stuff, there was potential he’d hit a little cynicism). My job was to strike that balance, writing a speech that let his silly side shine through while carrying jokes that were witty enough to carry the weight the occasion deserved.

I’ve written multiple times for Crocs’ annual global business event, supporting leaders across the senior team, from the CEO to group heads. Depending on the speaker’s needs, I provide everything from end-to-end scriptwriting to punch-ups, jokes, and edits to structure and flow, ensuring each leader feels confident and authentic on stage.
Brand Activations
I was delighted to take my love of musical comedy online when I was invited to write on Crush Hour, an Audible Original series. I’ve also written radio campaigns for War Child, BBC Radio 4, and Acast, featuring the likes of Claudia Winkleman. Listen for yourself below.
Keynotes & Leadership brand development
I have been writing theatre since I was a teenager, it’s the language I learned to express myself in. I write punchy plays that deal with complex topics, I also write and perform solo shows, which including songs I’ve written (and play on the piano).
