BECOME A PATRON AND HELP BRING NEW STORIES TO LIFE

Where COMMITMENT
meets CREATION

Becoming a patron is about helping work exist that might not otherwise find its way into the world. It is not a sponsorship or a transaction. It is a belief that culture grows when people are willing to stand behind ideas that move them. In every era, there are patrons who understand that storytelling shapes how we see ourselves and each other. Their support allows writers, performers and makers to create with freedom, taking risks that make art feel alive.

THE WORK OF THIS CREATIVE STUDIO

I am a writer and creative producer creating work that looks closely at the emotional and cultural life of our time. My projects move between theatre, storytelling and social reflection, building experiences that stay with people and invite conversation. I work with artists, thinkers and supporters who believe in the power of story to move culture forward. I welcome patrons who want to help bring new work to life through trust, imagination and generosity.

AN INVITATION

If you are someone who wants your resources to move people, becoming a patron is a way to make something lasting. Support can be private, named or shared and can focus on a single project or a small portfolio.

Ways you could support include

  • Commission or co-commission a new piece

  • Create a named production or residency

  • Offer multi-stage backing from idea to premiere

  • Matching funds to unlock other support

  • Support access, bursaries and development funds for emerging artists

Projects you could support include…

  • Support for scriptwriting helps develop new work that examines the emotional and cultural stories of our time. These are projects that may not be commercially driven but seek depth, honesty and resonance. Patron support enables focused development periods that allow ideas to move from early exploration to scripts ready for rehearsal and production. Contributions can be directed toward a single work or toward a fund that sustains the creation of multiple pieces over time.

  • This area brings writing into visual form through short films, performance visuals, photography and design collaborations. Patron involvement makes it possible to create resources that extend the ideas of the work and invite wider reflection. Projects might include filmic studies, installations or public storytelling in shared spaces such as billboards. Support here helps realise work that merges art, story and social imagination.

  • Production support helps turn developed scripts into fully realised works for stage and screen. Patron contributions can cover rehearsal periods, creative collaborators, venues and post-production. Support may range from smaller contributions to more substantial backing and can include opportunities for private viewings or quiet connection to the creative process. Each contribution helps produce independent work that bridges the space between the artist and the institution.

  • Creative development support strengthens the wider ecology of artistic work. Contributions to this area help establish a fund that offers dramaturgy, script support and creative guidance to emerging artists who might not otherwise have access to it. This strand of patron support nurtures new voices and ensures that the stories being developed are as diverse, thoughtful and emotionally grounded as the times they reflect.
