How does it work?

Get in touch with me via the contact page, or scroll down to book directly below. Choose either a written report, or a report plus feedback session where we discuss rewrites together. We can also work out an ongoing collaboration if that feels right. Once we’ve decided what’s best for you project, I’ll follow that up with an easy way for you to pay.
Review
Once you’ve paid, you’ll send me your script, and we’ll book in the delivery date for your script report or feedback session. I’ll then go away and read it carefully (usually two or three times). I’ll make notes and look closely at what shines and what might need a bit of tweaking. Think of me as a fresh pair of eyes, all-in to help you make your best script. I’ll then prepare a script report, a feedback session, or a plan how we’re going to work together on your script. It’s all super easy to book, with clear communication, and we’ll work around your schedule.
Refine
Finally, you’ll receive your script report to take away and factor in to your rewriting process. If you’ve booked a feedback session, we’ll have that together online, or in person if possible, and if we’re really enjoying ourselves we’ll work out an ongoing programme to support the rewriting process. Finally, your script is going where it needs to go. Yay.

I'll carefully read your script, providing detailed notes in a comprehensive written report that highlights strengths and areas for improvement - from plot structure and character development to dialogue, pacing, and overall storytelling.

This includes the read and report service plus we'll have a two-hour one-on-one feedback session to discuss the notes, address concerns, and explore ways you might approach the rewriting and reimagining process.

That’s up to you to decide. I don’t offer a traditional reading and rating of your work. I’m more interested in your personal development and helping you write the best script you can write right now. We’ve all got pressures we face, but if we resonate, I don’t doubt that this process will be useful to you.

If you’re in London we can meet face to face. We just need a good 2-3 hours, but if we need a little longer to get to the heart of your script, and how to progress, then we’ll take that time. Online or IRL, whatever it takes.

This is a very real question to the writer working hard to make it. First up, my fee is negotiable for plays or screenplays that are very long or particularly short. I created this service to champion new work, so please don’t hesitate to contact me, as I will do my best to offer a sliding scale in exceptional circumstances.
