DEVELOPING YOUR CREATIVE PRACTICE (DYCP) ACCESS SUPPORT.

Get in touch

I am registered Arts Council access support worker here to help you find confidence and clarity of your ideas.

Where CLARITY
meets CONFIDENCE

Applying for Arts Council England’s Developing Your Creative Practice fund can feel like trying to speak two languages at once, especially if you are a differently abled or neurodiverse creative. The form demands clarity, structure, and self-definition in ways that do not always come naturally to the way artists think, make, or process. DYCP Access Support exists to bridge that gap, offering practical and creative support through the application process so you can communicate your work clearly and confidently.

Don’t LET SCARY FORMS PUT YOU OFF

I am a writer and creative producer who has been awarded DYCP funding, and it changed everything about how I understand my practice. For years I avoided applying, convinced the process would take more from me than it gave, but when I finally did it the experience transformed my creative life. That is why I now support other creatives, especially writers with ADHD, to bring structure and clarity to what they already know, keeping their voice intact while helping them show their work in its best light.

MY INVITATION TO YOU

If you are preparing a DYCP application and would benefit from structured support, this is an invitation to make the process lighter, clearer, and more creatively aligned. I can help you prepare your Access Support request or step in once it is approved to work with you directly through your DYCP application.

Access support can be used to:

  • Structure application materials

  • Proof, review and strengthen your written responses

  • Keep you focused and supported through what can feel like an overwhelming process

  • Support practical needs including literally entering your responses
