I became a speechwriter because I am mortally terrified of public speaking. Yet I seem drawn to thrusting myself in front of audiences. I’d love to help you explore what makes you unique and how to speak truthfully and with the kind of confidence that suits your personality. Everyone has something to say, and some of us need a little ushering to speak it quietly and clearly for others to hear. I’ll be your companion for that journey.

Vulnerability is

your superpower

I don’t teach confidence, I don’t know if I believe that’s possible. I believe instead that people assume confidence when someone is willing to stand in their vulnerability. That is something I can help with. Looking at what interferes with our desire to put ourselves forward and be heard is meaningful work. Your blocks to public speaking may be professional or personal. I take an inside-out approach, and together we look at the fears, the foibles, and the nuts and bolts of delivery. We go as deep as you’re interested in enquiring. I’ll be your non-judgemental witness as you realise new ways to progress in your life. I bring a play box of tools and tricks from my experience as a speechwriter, actor, improviser, screenwriter, personal development dork and (a lot of) therapy.
