Doug’s presence on this project was equal parts anchor and compass. As both script consultant and supervisor, he helped me distill something fluid and instinctive into something structurally coherent without ever flattening its spirit. His sensitivity to rhythm, voice, and silence — especially in a film that resists conventional narrative — was invaluable.

He never imposed. He listened first, deeply. Then asked the precise question that pushed the work forward. What I appreciated most was his ability to hold the emotional integrity of the project while guiding me, gently but clearly, toward clarity.
